[Company] is an Australian company headquartered in [Location]which was formed to acquire [Mine]in[Location].
The company is committed to redeveloping the mine site along with the idle mine infrastructure, concentrator and ship loading facilities to produce magnetite iron concentrate for supply predominantly into the European market.
The project is centred on an extensive area of known magnetite mineralisation.
To date a total of 11 JORC compliant resource blocks have been defined and ongoing diamond drilling is being directed at better defining areas designated for early stage mine production and at demonstrating continuity of mineralisation within the company’s lease area which extends over a strike length of approximately 12kms.
Refurbishment is already in progress to reactivate the primary crushers, a coarse cobbing plant and rail haulage facilities at the mine site and a concentrator and ship loadout facility located on a deep water fjord near[Location].
The port remains ice free year round. Current plans are to reactivate the mine to produce at a rate of 7 Mtpa of ROM ore to produce about 2.9 Mtpa of concentrates over an approximately 20 year mine life. Although not yet approved, an expansion of the existing facilities to double capacity is being considered.
The Managing Director for the project has recently been appointed and is now seeking applications from suitable candidates for the following expatriate position.
Manager –will be responsible for overseeing mine engineering aspects of the expansion study with eventual commissioning of new plant and equipment and ramping up to full Phase Two production (14 million tonnes / year of ROM iron ore).
This is a permanent long term position with residential preferred however, a roster arrangement would also be considered. An attractive expatriate package will be negotiated.
