This international mining organisation are looking for a Graduate Metallurgist to join an establish team.

The Role:
·         Reports to the Senior Plant Metallurgist to provide scientific and technical support to the Processing Department.
·         Operational roles in lead and silver refining processes, such as process monitoring, data analysis, report compilation, trouble-shooting and assisting in maintaining safe work instructions.
·         Project roles focussing on improvement ideas and specified strategic investigations and test-work.
·         Provide support to ensure compliance with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, Quality and Performance related regulations policies and procedures.
·         Working with other departments to develop the business in line with the company’s growth strategy.

The Requirements:
·         A degree qualification in Metallurgy (or similar discipline e.g. Chemical Engineering).
·         Industry experience, particularly in heavy metals, would be advantageous, especially in the areas of production or research and development, however this is not compulsory.
·         Enthusiastic and a team player with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
·         Strong analytical and problem solving ability, proficient in the use of office software.
·         An excellent communicator with the vision and ability to improve efficiencies through process and technical innovation.
·         Strong commitment to continuous improvement, development and safety.
