Our Client has been selected to develop an engineering alliance with a mineral mining company in Russia, to supply project delivery services to existing plant operations. The Russian group employs over 290,000 people and has consolidated revenues of over US$ 13 bn p.a

Primary Objectives
- Coordinate implementation of HSE policies, HSE Management System and specific HSE projects
- Ensure that projects comply with the relevant Occupational and HSE Legislation.
- Apply significant project management and engineering expertise around HSE projects.
- Ensure clear agreement of client objectives on each project and that these are met or exceeded.
- Provide strong HSE leadership
- Be an active participant in the modernisation of the Client’s Mine and Processing Operations
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proactively developing relationships by making efforts to listen to and understand the customer (both internal and external). Giving a high priority to customer satisfaction.
- Establishing a course of action for self and/or others to accomplish a specific goal; planning proper assignments of personnel and appropriate allocation of resources.
- Using appropriate interpersonal styles and methods to inspire and guide individuals (direct reports, peers and superiors) towards goal achievement modifying behaviour to accommodate tasks, situations and individuals involved
- Keeping abreast of current developments and trends in area of expertise
- Setting up ongoing procedures for collection and review of information necessary for the management of projects or an organisation; taking into consideration the skills , knowledge and expertise of the responsible individuals and characteristics of the assignments or projects
- Expressing ideas effectively in individual and group situations. Adjusting language and terminology to the needs of the audience.
- Expressing ideas clearly in documents that have organisation, structure, grammar, language and terminology adjusted to the characteristics of the audience (Written Communication
- An engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Qualifications or equivalent experience (approximately 10 years) in similar role/s particularly within a similar industrial environment
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to all levels of customers and employees
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong attention to detail, a professional demeanour and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Able to think logically and analytically
- Able to operate effectively in remote and harsh locations.
- Russian Language Capability
- Previous Experience in Working in Russia and FSU preferred
