Our Nationwide client requires a confident, motivated and technically accomplished Geologist to join their growing team in their Newcastle office.
You will have an honors degree in Geology or Applied Geology and ideally a second degree in Engineering Geology.

Also a minimum of 6 years experience in a similar consultancy environment required, this would include some of the following:
·         Interpretative report writing
·         Presentations
·         Bid preparation
·         Drafting of Geotechnical contract documents
·         Slope stability analysis (rock and soil)
·         Geological and geomorphic mapping
·         Ground investigation design supervision and interpretation
·         Geotechnical design work e.g. Rock anchors, foundations, piles, soil nails, retaining structures
