Mine Mechanical Engineer

• Mine Mechanical Engineer required for a mine in the UK.
• Reporting to the Mine Chief Engineer, the Mine Mechanical Engineer will have overall responsibility for the Mine Mechanical Department.
• Key tasks include managing and promoting an effective safety regime to comply with requirements and legislation.
• Planning and managing engineering staff and resources to meet company objectives.
• Managing training and development of Staff to meet the requirements of the individuals and the Mine.
• Successful Candidates will have relevant experience working in a mine environment and previous management experience is essential.
• Have a proven knowledge of appropriate regulations and legislation including Management of Health and Safety.
• Tertiary qualifications should be to degree level in Mechanical Engineering
