Our Technology Center Central Europe-Central Asia is seeking to recruit a Senior Mining Engineer (f/m) for its department Operational Support. You should be able to start at the earliest possible date..

Description of the position :
You will support our cement plants in Central Europe-Central Asia in enhancing quarry productivity and crushing equipment effi ciency

Your role includes the developing of:
·         mining, hauling and crushing concepts for investment projects
·         raw material blending concepts
·         mining plants and supports plants in mining permit procedures
·         You will analyze the quarry equipment development and the supplier market in coordination with purchasing
·         In addition your task will be to manage equipment tests and participate in commissioning and performance tests of production equipment
·         Furthermore you will develop sustainable and effective quality control in raw material preparation with special reference to existing and new Cross-Belt-Analyzer applications
·         Finally you will support the group wide knowledge management system and be the contact person for the global team leader Mining operations CCM
Requirements/Preferred Skills:
·         You hold an above average university degree in mining engineering
·         You have 3 years operational experience in related fields
·         Your have very good IT skills, especially in MS Office
·         The ability to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and deadlines and to work independently as well as part of a team is one of your strongest attributes
·         You should possess good analytical, problem solving and communication skills and be fluent in English. Russian language skills would be an advantage
·         You are willing to travel extensively
